  Wan Rashid Bin Wan Mohamed
Encik Wan Rashid bin Dato’ Wan Mohamed, a Malaysian, male, aged 47 and is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. He was appointed to the Board on 30 March 2011. He is a member of the Audit Committee of the Company.

is a Chartered Global Management Accountant, an Associate member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (“CIMA, UK”) and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He holds a Degree in Accounts and Finance from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.

He started his career in Chua & Chu, a Public Accountant firm in 1995, and later joined Perodua Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in 1996 as a Management Accountant. As a Chartered Management Accountant, he has an extensive working experience in the financial management discipline. He was in charge of various units within the Finance and Accounts Division and was extensively involved in various IT implementations activities. He also involved in various projects especially relating to cost down activities.

In October 2003, he joined Commerce Dot Com Sdn Bhd (“CDCSB”) as Finance Manager. He brought with him a wealth of experience and this proved to be timely and valuable especially when CDCSB was gearing up to improve its operational efficiency and performance as well as its profitability. He was later appointed as the Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for the overall operations of the Corporate Finance and Corporate Strategic Affairs. He was involved in key decision making for the strategic directions and growth of CDCSB.

Encik Wan Rashid was instrumental in setting up Commerce Access Sdn Bhd (“CASB”) in 2008 with the objective of expanding the e-Procurement services to other government agencies outside the Federal Government and to establish B2B market place. It was a timely move and several major agencies have signed to use the system.

As Puncak Semangat Group of Companies expended, Encik Wan Rashid was given the task to set up Puncak Semangat Technology Sdn Bhd (“PSTSB”) to provide shared services and outsourcing to the companies under Puncak Semangat Sdn Bhd and was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of PSTSB in 2012. PSTSB has successfully rolled out comprehensive shared services for IT and Service Industries in the following areas; Human Capital Management, Financial & Treasury Management, Legal & Corporate Secretarial and Administration Management and Training. The group has benefitted in this shared services initiatives by achieving cost saving and efficiency.

In 2016, Encik Wan Rashid was appointed as Group Chief Operating Officer of PST Ventures Sdn Bhd (PSTV) and he is part of the strategic alignment team consolidating PSTV group of companies.

He is also an active member of CIMA Malaysia Division, serving its Sub-Committee (the Student Development Committee) until 2011 and has contributed his time and energy in promoting CIMA in Malaysia. He was an active member in Toastmasters for 3 years and had served as the Treasurer and later as the Secretary for the CIMA Malaysia Toastmasters Club.

He does not have any family relationship with any other Directors and/or a major shareholder of the Company and has no conflict of interest with the Company. He has had no convictions for offences within the past five years.
